Munich, 2013/05/07 – International Research Networks (IRIS), the world’s largest and best-known network of independent market research institutes, is continuing to expand. The IRIS Spring Meeting, which took place in Edinburgh in mid-April, welcomed three new members from Mexico, France and Switzerland. The network now comprises 1,500 employees in 33 countries. This expansion has been vigorously promoted by Vocatus board member Hardy C. Koth, who is also President of the IRIS Council. Vocatus is the network’s exclusive German partner.
International market research requires the involvement of first-class local experts who comply with the same quality standards, attach the same importance to professionalism and innovation, and also keep an eye on the respective country-specific circumstances. It is precisely this model that unites all the members of International Research InstituteS (IRIS). The network assembles local expertise which can then be made available to clients who have commissioned international market research projects. Each country is exclusively represented by one leading market research institute.
The network has now been reinforced by three new members who have passed the strict qualifying examination and personal audit with flying colours: LEXIA Insights Solutions in Mexico specialises in qualitative market research as well as the topic areas of branding, marketing and communication, and has particularly made a name for itself in the pharmaceutical, automotive and consumer goods industries. In addition to its headquarters in Mexico, the institute has subsidiaries in Columbia and the USA.
The new French partner is Future Thinking France (FTF), a joint venture of the British company SPA Future Thinking and Acticall, the leading French CRM provider. This full-service institute is thus one of the biggest and fastest-growing market research companies in Europe.
The IRIS representative in Switzerland is intervista. This full-service institute originally saw the light of day as a collaborative project set up by Swisscom and SBB, and its main emphasis is qualitative and quantitative online research. Intervista has its own online panel with over 40,000 actively recruited participants in Switzerland.
In addition to Vocatus in Germany, the network comprises institutes in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, Egypt, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Netherlands, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, and the US.
